I'm a mentor for travel advisors, systems strategist, course creator, and keynote speaker.

I know what it’s like to carry it all, to succeed by the world’s standards (winning the awards, booking the vacations, making the money) and still feel like you’re failing at the things that matter most.

I help travel advisors build sustainable businesses with systems that support their lives, not steal from them. Through my signature program and coaching, I walk alongside advisors as they hire assistants, implement systems that make automation and delegation seamless, and finally step into the CEO role with clarity, confidence, and freedom. This is about more than just getting help. It’s about reclaiming your time, your health, your leadership, and your life.

I'm mary beth

It all started with a gold couch and the hard truth.

We were sitting on the gold couch when it all came crashing down. I was working nonstop, saying yes to everything, running a "successful" business that was steadily wrecking me. My health was unraveling. My calendar was a blur of late nights and missed moments. I couldn't remember the last time I felt rested, let alone present.

That’s when Robbie looked at me, eyes full of love and concern, and said what I hadn’t been willing to admit: “You can’t keep living like this.” That conversation broke something open. Because he was right. I had built a business that looked good on the outside, but it was costing me everything that mattered.

"we can't keep living like this."

That gold couch became the place where I cried, exhaled, and finally chose to do things differently. I got support. I created real systems. I stopped trying to do it all myself. And slowly, I rebuilt. Not just my business, but my life.

That's what I do now. I help travel agents and advisors build businesses that give back more than they take, support your real life, and leave room for the things that matter most. It starts with a moment like mine: when you decide never again. And from there, everything can change.

I may have my crap together now,

but life wasn't always like this.

Before my Gold Couch moment, I was the travel advisor waking up at 4am to put in a hundred hours of work each week and figure it all out myself. I was the one constantly putting out fires, checking my emails at stoplights, running a business that looked successful but was eating me alive from the inside out.

I didn’t know anyone who had both a thriving travel business and a thriving personal life. So I had to become that person. I had to be willing to do the unglamorous work of building systems from scratch, getting help before I felt "ready," and learning how to lead with humility, clarity, and intention.

why this work matters.

This isn't just about hiring an assistant or using tech tools. It's about redefining what success actually looks like in this industry. For too long, travel agents and advisors have been told to chase volume, win awards, and work around the clock in order to succeed.

But I believe your business should
support your life, not consume it. When you ethically hire an assistant, build out real systems, and take ownership of your role as CEO, you create something far more powerful than just a profitable agency. You create freedom, sustainability, and impact: for you and for the person you employ. You don't have to do it like everyone else.

You
don't have to keep working nights and weekends, saying yes out of guilt, or chasing someone else's definition of success. You can build a business that reflects your values, your vision, and the kind of life you actually want to live. You are worth that. And I can show you how.

let's talk about

I don’t do drama—or work weekends.

I no longer work weekends, undercharge for my expertise, or shape my business around someone else’s goals. If it doesn’t align with my faith, my marriage, or my mission—it’s a no.

Beach, Books, and Boundaries

My dream day includes tea at sunrise, a workout I actually enjoy, Zoom calls with my favorite clients, and a good book on the dock at our lake house. And no—I do not answer emails on vacation.

Systems + Sass

I may be the “Systems & Assistants” gal now, but once upon a time I was working 80 hours a week with an overloaded laptop, a prayer, and no sleep. These glasses? They've seen some things.

Soul Dog Status

My dog Sadie is my bestie, my sidekick and my soulmate. If you’ve ever seen a girl light up at the mention of a beach, a book, and her pup—that’s me.

The Double Impact

The first time I heard how much this job meant to Camille, my assistant in the Philippines, I sobbed. That was the moment I knew: this matters. It’s not just business—it’s legacy.

hours I’m no longer spending managing emails, thanks to systems, templates, and an assistant who keeps my inbox from running my life.

travel advisors have taken one of our trainings—because no one else in the industry is teaching assistants + systems like this.

advisors have joined Systems & Assistants That Work—and many now have assistants who are changing their businesses and their lives.

members in the free Facebook group—a safe, fluff-free space to learn, grow, and get real about what’s not working (and how to fix it).

I’m an extroverted Enneagram 8, which means I love people deeply—and I’m not afraid to lovingly challenge you when something feels out of alignment. I’ve learned (sometimes the hard way) that success means nothing if it costs you your health, your relationships, or your peace.

So now, I live like I matter. I work out. I take real vacations. I don’t work weekends. I built this business to support my actual life—not someone else’s goals—and I help my clients do the same.

Jesus, my marriage, and time with my people are non-negotiables. If my business ever starts to steal from those, I pause, recalibrate, and choose a better way. Always.
